The area is in MNR Wildlife Management Unit 21A and is plentiful of moose, bear, deer and grouse. There is great fishing in the area, Walker's Lake is mostly bass but trout, walleye and pike are in many surrounding lakes. There is hydro to the cottage but it is not hooked up.
