Last night I dreamt that we found the perfect remodeling project. With our kids off to college, my partner and I decided that we were craving a change of scenery as well, so we sold our longtime home in the suburbs and bought a home on the northern tip of Richmond Heights. On a huge lot with a view of the river, we felt this location was ideal for our later years. No matter the season, strolling the river valley has always been one of our most favourite activities, and now the trail is right outside our front door! We enlisted a local design firm to help envision a lofty transformation for the existing house, and the final renderings of the project were simply astounding. A reputable contractor is onboard to see us through to completion, and now that the hammers are swinging we’re so excited to document the progress day by day.
