<p><b>Dewsall Wood</b> is a stunning example of an ancient and semi-natural broadleaf woodland, conveniently located near Hereford and the picturesque Wye Valley National Landscape.</p><p>A hard stone track leads from the main gate directly to the woodland, where the terrain varies with elevation, adding scale and character to the landscape. To the south, sweeping views stretch across the fields to the distant hills.</p><p>Throughout the site, wide grassy rides weave through the woodland, navigable by 4x4 in drier months, while meandering footpaths lead to open glades and level clearings—ideal for camping and woodland activities.</p><p>Mature oak dominate the landscape, accompanied by veteran birch, chestnut, and ash. Hazel, holly, and honeysuckle, alongside seasonal displays of wild daffodils, wood anemones, and bluebells.</p><p>The woodland is alive with birdsong, and wildlife such as deer, rabbits, and badgers are frequent visitors, adding to the tranquillity of the setting.</p><p>Ideally situated, Dewsall Wood is just a short drive from the cathedral city of Hereford and the Wye Valley, with its wealth of natural beauty and outdoor adventures.</p><p><br/></p><p>The ward is Wormside and the county council is Hereford. </p><p><b>Boundaries:</b> The boundary is open on all sides and marked with red paint. Parking is possible within the woodland.
