Many local shops, restaurants, and other services are located all within walking distance, e.g. Sainsbury’s, Lidl, Tescos, Co-op, the Divine Cafe, and many other independent small shops in Sherwood center. Nottingham City Hospital is also within walking distance. Public transport to the city center and NTU is just a 5 minute walk away and only takes 10 minutes (or less) by bus (buses 15, 16, and 17). This city center is about 1.6 miles away. There is a free bus called the Medilink to the University of Nottingham.
